BeOnTheNet'sFull Service Maintenance Services |
In addition on a monthly basis (more often if required) we will test the "Dynamic Pages" within your web site. Typically the number of dynamic pages is a good indication of the size of your site and the amount of maintenance it requires. This prompts the question "What is a Dynamic Page?"
Your Home Page - This page will be the major navigation page within your web site and will normally be updated at least once a month to reflect changes to your web site. In addition it will frequently contain elements such as today's date, rotating banners and/or headlines etc. which require programming.
Your Guest Book Page - this page uses a program to process the information your site's visitor enters. As such it must be tested.
Pages with External Links - Many web sites contain pages which have links to other sites. These links must be regularly tested.
Search Engine Information - Most of the pages that we create for you will contain information which is designed to cause your pages to show up well when we register them with search engines. We spend a lot of time effort and money tracking how the major search engines are working, they change frequently! If search engine changes dictate that we make changes to your pages we will.
Programming Pages - Many of you will choose to add in to your site one or more of the BeOnTheNet "Add-ons" such as Contests, Newsletter/Mailing List, Mail-In Forms, Electronic Greeting Cards, Quizzes, etc. which are designed to make your site more interesting or build traffic into your web site. The pages used for these purposes require programs which must be tested and maintained.
